Dr. Carol's Munschables
When I was writing my book, and on an earlier version of my website, I
had a section I called Munschables. These were thoughts and ideas,
sometimes just interesting curiosities "to chew on" that I found perked up my mood or my day.
For this reason, I include in this section random quotations or short
vignettes that I have happened upon, or that my patients or friends have
given me that I wanted to share as food for quick energy or even growth.
Self Psychologists believe that none of us can deny our need for
nourishment. While some of us are lucky to be served what we need when we need it,
others have to forage for themselves or to teach our significant others
how to provide us what we need. Just as no one ever outgrows his or her need for milk; it is true that no
one ever outgrows their need for timely quotations or inspirations to lift the spirits.
Feel free to send me with some of your own.
